Each day I am inspired by my students' tenacity, positivity, and humor. I teach 11th and 12th grade English at a high school in East Los Angeles that is a hub for the community. My students and I work together to help them develop the literacy skills they need to advocate for themselves and their community. All donations to my classroom will help create a rich learning environment that fosters intellectual growth.
