We will use the materials to create a much needed therapeutic calming room in which the students can use materials to help regulate their emotions. The students will have scheduled times and flexible times as needed during challenging behaviors. The room will provide a positive environment for the students to navigate and learn strategies during explosive and internalized behaviors. The room will be available to students at all times during the school day. Our school is home to many of the areas most emotional and behavior challenging students. To see our students grow and overcome their many obstacles is magical and rewarding.
