My wonderful fourth grade class works together so well. They all help each other achieve and succeed. They are kind, and they love to sing! They enjoy sad songs, happy songs, and songs in Spanish. They go to music class twice a week for half an hour each time, but they want and need more opportunities to participate with music. Ukuleles would allow my students opportunities to explore and create wonderful music. Our school has about 450 students in kindergarten through 6th grade. We have a diverse student body with over 30 languages spoken. We value our differences, and work hard to build connections. Music is our universal language.
