My class loves to listen to books! I teach second grade in a small suburban district in Pennsylvania. I have 23 students of various abilities. We have literacy centers during guided reading, which means I take small groups of students who are reading at the same level and we read books that are challenging for them. I might have a group reading at the first grade level all the way up to a group who read at the fourth grade level. When they are not reading with me, they work on different activities in the classroom.
