My class would benefit from Scholastic News magazines because it is a high interest colorful magazine that will attract even the most reluctant reader. Teaching them about the current events in the world around them and and reinforcing their reading comprehension skills. I will use these magazines on a weekly basis working in small groups, whole groups, and on independent reading. The pictures and the illustrations capture the attention of my students. This will spark their curiosity and their interest to learn. This magazine will not only help my students academically but also socially and emotionally. Scholastic News will bring the world to my students.
