I teach Biology and Environmental Science at Wade Hampton High School. This is my 12th year in the classroom and first year at Wade Hampton. My teaching philosophy is that learning should be a fun process and we retain more when we learn by doing. I try to keep my classes interactive and hands-on. Science is the best subject because it incorporates reading, writing, mathematics, some history, and creative and critical thinking. I enjoy teaching and spending time with teenagers! If you come to visit our classroom be prepared for wacky stories, nerdy science jokes, and bad puns.
