I am privilege to work with 48 fourth graders. These kids come with a variety of backgrounds and home expectations. Trying to encourage math and science with a group of 18 girls and 30 boys makes life fun! We try to do lots of team building and cooperation so that students are getting the life skills that they need. Simple things such as how do I communicate with another person, even if I don't agree with what they are saying are things that my students and I are building on in our classroom community. By the end of the year, I want my students to be able to work together as a team and ask questions with confidence!
