Welcome! I am glad you made it! A brief bio: I am a teacher of special needs students at a small school in a suburban, coastal area of South Carolina. I teach both in the learning lab setting and in the general education inclusion setting. I have been working with students since 2006 and teach both learning disabled and emotionally disabled children. One of my passions includes raising awareness in our youth regarding environmental issues and how even the youngest individual can help reduce the negative influences of our human impact on our environment. My high school students, husband, and I have participated in our local SCDNR SCORE recycling program for several years; but now that I have returned to the elementary level, we are shifting our focus and plan to participate in the From Seeds to Shoreline program.
