These requested new Webster's New Explorer large print dictionaries will be used to do old-fashioned word work with my 5th-8th grade reading classes and 5th/6th grade writing classes. Being able to use a dictionary to look up words is an essential key to a student's education. It is becoming a lost art with all of the technology we have in the world these days. Several of my classroom dictionaries were copyrighted in 1994 and the other ones from 2003. Many of the words I have my students look up are not in these older dictionaries. My classes would really benefit from having these newer large-print dictionaries for years to come.
