Before students come to YES Prep, college is more like a dream than a reality. This is mostly due to the fact that many are first-generation, come from underprivileged neighborhoods, and don't often have the moral/financial support they need to go to college. My goal is help make this dream come true. At first glance, you wouldn't think that our school is as extraordinary as perhaps some of the schools you would find in the suburban parts of the city. This is a place where teachers truly enjoy what they do and work hard because they care. Our students face many challenges on a daily basis, but you wouldn't know this by walking through our halls. You would be greeted with big smiles and asked multiple times if you need assistance. Our kids are sweet, generous, and wear their school colors with PRIDE.
