As a 3rd grade teacher at a new school focused on project-based, real world learning, I have the privilege of teaching children old enough to understand social responsibility and young enough to try anything with curiosity and enthusiasm. I have the priviledge of guiding a community of learners as they develop their skills in communication, teamwork, problem solving, and conflict resolution. As a teacher, and with the support of the Donors Choose community, I try to create learning experiences that prepare my students to be future problem solvers.
