Each manipulative will help my students better understand our science concepts through sight, sound, and touch. My students will be able to show me their understanding of what we are learning through the manipulatives rather than speech which is very important for my non-verbal students. During each unit, students will have the opportunity to explore plants, insects, and many other areas that they might not understand looking at a book or hearing me teach about. I cannot wait to see the wonder on their faces when they get to explore a whole new world.
