Our school serves a population of children with 91% free and reduced lunch. Though the population is at risk, the children are much like any other children in the U.S. The children I teach want to learn, they want the skills necessary to fulfill their dreams of becoming doctors, lawyers and ballerinas. The children in my classroom need to move. They are constantly standing up, wiggling, and squirming. They are playful and full of life, why not capitalize on this strength and allow them to squirm and learn?

About my class
