My students attend a public District 75 school in the Bronx. Their grade levels range from 5th through 8th grade, but are on Kindergarten through 4th grade academic levels and need a lot of extra support to catch up in all academic areas. My students are all very energetic and excited by the prospect of graduating and being able to live and work independently. They acknowledge their strengths and weaknesses and are motivated to learn math, reading, writing, and the other necessary skills so that they can fulfill this dream.
