Kids love to watch screens. When there is a screen in the room, kids look at it. Kids are accustomed to giving their full attention to computer screens, TV screens, movie screens, cell phone screens, GameBoy screens, etc. Today's teachers have found a way to use this phenomenon to their advantage in order to get their students to learn. This cunning strategy is called the LCD projector. My sixth-graders would learn tremendously more about reading and writing, and also have a lot more fun in class, if only we had one.
