P. Middle School is located in New York. Our district is an urban/suburban district that serves over 25,000 students from 47 countries and various socioeconomic backgrounds. Our district is designated by the New York State Education Department as a High Needs/Low Resource district. The public school population consist of students who are 64% free and reduced lunch eligible; 13% English as a second language, 88% students of color, and 16% students with disabilities. In our P. Middle School Multicultural club we make up 27 different cultures ranging from Haitian, Jamaican, Philipino, Different Hispanic Countries, etc.
