As you arrive at our high poverty school you will notice the twenty flags hanging in the lobby that celebrate the diversity of cultures and languages of the children they represent. Before our children can focus on their learning for the day, significant issues are addressed on a daily basis for many including hunger, homelessness, abuse, and neglect. Amazingly, our students have a spirit and hunger for learning and our school promotes, "Believe! Achieve! Inspire!" Students, staff, parents, and community members all work together to build a strong learning community.

About my class
