The students in the third grade have been raised with technology at their fingertips. The classroom must include interactive lessons using technology. The Smartboard allows students to practice and master many skills that build the foundation for learning in later grades. My students are a diverse group of learners with different learning abilities. They consist of English language learners, and students working below, at, and above grade level. They find the Smartboard fascinating and are always eager to participate in a lesson that appeals to their technical skills.
