Imagine how engaging it would be if when you are introducing long division and it is up on the screen step by step for all to see. Students can take turns getting up and typing in the answer. This would allow the students to be spread out in the classroom able to work at their own pace with a prominent visual aide. Now picture if you can, 20 students crowded around one computer to see a presentation and students need to move for one of them to answer a question. The situation now is that a student must try to answer the question on a clipboard or in their head.
