My students are bright and energetic first graders in a Title I school in an urban setting. They are a great group of 27 boys and girls ready and eager to read, solve problems, and work with each other. All of my students love to learn and share new discoveries through their writing. They get excited when it is time to publish a new piece of their writing or when they can share their learning with each other. Math is full of problems to solve, and my students work hard to practice all of their skills and become better each day.
