My students are 15, third and forth graders with mild to moderate disabilities. Within these 2 grade levels, there is a huge range of skills and needs. I have 4 separate reading groups, each using a different curricular materials. My students must be able to work independently while I work with each group. Having students practice reading along on mp3 players would increase their reading fluency and give them a break between written assignments during reading time.
