I am a kindergarten teacher at the Pine Grove Elementary School in Pine Grove, PA. I enjoy my job because I love working with children and I believe that kindergarten is a very rewarding grade level to teach. The progress students make from the beginning to the end of the year is incredible! I try to provide my students with a variety of ways to learn the skills they need to succeed and move on to first grade. Each year, I work hard to come up with new ways to improve my teaching. Last year, I created hands-on science centers for my students and this year, I plan to expand my listening center by adding tablets for listening to books with QR codes that are available online. Overall, I believe my most important task as a kindergarten teacher is to instill a love of learning in my students during their very first elementary school experience!
