“Count Me In” and “Stamped” both deal with the topic of race. We will read aloud them in small groups/book clubs and discuss them with an adult in our school community aka book clubs. The “Global Read Aloud” kick off for “Stamped” on October 9 in a global Skype. I hope to connect with a class in Africa. Varsha Bajaj author of “Count Me In” has offered to Skype with my class too. She was generous with her time last Spring and joined us for the culminating event of read aloud.
