Many of our students come from low economic or struggling families. A large portion of them use negative behavior to gain attention. However, it is always surprising to see much of that soften once they realize that we, as teachers, are in their corner. We also have students that come from strong, stable homes and provide a tone of confidence, leadership, and success. As most students this age, ours are trying to find an acceptable way of expressing themselves in society and to cope appropriately with all the stress in their lives.

About my class
