About my class

The school in which I work is a Title 1 school, many students come from immense poverty and live in areas of high crime, however such circumstances seldom hinder my students' outstanding abilities. My First Grade students are remarkable. They are thoughtful, knowing, and adaptable. Each of my students wants to do their best, and loves coming to school each and every day. Each child has a unique personality and a lovely story to share. Moreover, I have made everlasting and strong bonds with many families who give everything they have to see their child succeed. With such support from my students' families it has enabled me to do what I do best, inspire and educate. Each day I enter my classroom, I know I am making a difference in my students' lives and I know they're doing the same with mine. I couldn't imagine working in any other school, for the school in which I work is diverse and extremely welcoming!
