My students come from all corners of the world. We have a high refugee population at our school, which means these kids have been through hell and back before they came to the U.S. Many of these kids have never been at a school at all, others have attended schools with no walls, or have had to run for their lives and try to find schools in their new areas. These students have a thirst for knowledge. They have a high curiosity about their world, but have never had the resources to learn.
