Imagine walking into a classroom with a happy vibe. There are smiles and laughter coming from every corner. Students are busily engaged in learning and functional activities. Now consider that my students learn differently. They learn outside of the box. They see the world in a different way then most people. They range in age from 3 to 12 and have differing abilities. Many consider my students to be unteachable. Hogwash! My students are all over the room working at academic and functional learning stations. They are learning to walk, communicate, deal with sensory issues, behavioral issues and other challenges that most of us will never have to ever think about. If you walk in my class you will see a group of happy students joking around and trying to get out of doing their work. I am reminded everyday how all people, no matter what package we are put in, are all the same. Peace Love Happiness
