My students are your typical 9th grade students who enter high school on all different spectrum. Some have never read an entire novel while others have read dozens. Some can barely read while others are prolific readers. Some students are in foster care and more worried about where their next meal is coming from than when the next test is. Others aspire to attend rigorous 4 year universities. I believe this book will capture all of their interests and lead them to view their lives differently.
