I am a third grade teacher at West Ridge Elementary, a neighborhood school located in one of Chicago's most diverse neighborhoods. My students come from all around the world; in fact, more than half of my students originate from a country outside of the United States. My students are amazing- they speak a multitude of languages, have unique experiences and backgrounds, and overall make our classroom a very special learning community.
