Students will learn on an IPad Pro through STEM initiatives how to reduce dependence on big box stores and traditional forms of energy. Alternative forms of energy are explored as well as the concept of reducing the human "foot print" on the Earth. Students learn through visualizing global conditions and the real world culture of "carrying water", "roof top" water collection systems, cisterns, and river culture. An Ipad Pro with WiFi will allow students to develop a home site by designing a "Tiny House" less than 800 square feet, food sourcing on the property, designing a system for accessing water, garbage disposal, and designing multi use furniture. Students will use engineering apps available in the App Store to build a model that includes these criteria and create a multi media presentation that focuses on the marketing and sale of the property including all of the environmental developments.
