My students come from a variety of backgrounds, races, and social economic statuses. We have about half of our students in ranching and farming with the other half living in small towns. Many of them are on free and reduced lunch programs with quite a few of them being foster kids. Most of our students want to learn and get a good education so they can be wealthier than their parents and be able to have nice things. The students are known for hard work during hands-on learning activities and falling through the cracks in lecture only classes. Our school is quite small with an average of seventy-five total students in sixth through eighth grade. Many of our kids travel up to 40 miles a day just to get to school. Activities are important to us and we like to be in as many activities as possible. We have little funding and it is hard to buy or replace items that have gone bad.
