Students in my class work are at many different levels in math. They often work independently using technology such as Khan Academy or Study Island. We go through a lot of scrap paper doing this. Using the requested dry erase boards will cut down on that. It will also enable the students to write larger, which makes things easier for them and makes it easier for me to see what they're doing. In addition, I will use the white boards during small group instruction, having students write responses on the boards and hold them up for me to check for understanding. (The white boards we have are old, chipped, and stained, and really need to be replaced.) Keeping markers is always an issue - they dry up quickly. Using the Expo dry erase markers and markers with eraser sets will keep my students engaged and happy. These supplies will also help cut down on our paper usage.
