My school is a high school located in an urban area of Tennessee. This is a typical public high school with a variety of programs. The students I work with have a variety of disabilities, but they all have severe intellectual disabilities. My students work hard. They want so much do excel and to do the best work they can do. My students often need hands on materials to help them and inspire them to learn. They need to do things instead of read about them. They need materials that look cool. They need activities that put them in charge. They need patience and understanding. They need my support, and they need your support.
