Welcome to Colin's teacher page! The talent shows and concerts at our High School have been a wonderful highlight of the school year and a creative outlet for hundreds of students. Since I began the music program ten years ago with a small recorder class, it has grown to a full program involving students from all four grades. We now have twenty four pianos, various percussion instruments including eight conga drums, and thirty guitars through “Little Kids Rock” and "Donors Choose." A local Arts Ensemble also funds visits by a percussionist and guitarist. We have had successful concerts twice a year for the past eight years, with an emphasis on Afro-Cuban percussion, blues and R&B, pop and hip hop.
