Not only do GoPro cameras provide high resolution images and video, but they can also be used in rugged conditions. GoPros are also known for their durability, this particular model is waterproof and made to withstand use by 7th grade student scientists. This camera has built in picture stabilization so that clear images can be captured even when pictures are taken in less than perfect conditions. Science is happening all the time and can be missed if you are not paying attention or if you have a bad view. Students will get to see the development of a chicken including the hatching of the egg even if they are not in class to see it. They will also get to watch the lifecycle of the trout with live streaming ability made possible with a classroom GoPro camera. By utilizing GoPro cameras in our classroom students can share what they have learned and can have a great view of science as it happens.
