My middle school students absolutely LOVE art and are so excited about what this year will bring in the art classroom. My students rarely get to build and sculpt with real clay materials and are really interested in learning about the clay medium. They also love to paint and are SUPER excited about our yearly ceiling tile paintings that we do each year. It is a great way for them to show off their talent and improve the atmosphere in our school. I teach 230 students in grades 6-8. We are located in a very poor, rural area with a high unemployment rate.
