Loving it in 3RD GRADE!! This year, we are departmentalizing our 3rd grade. I will now be the lead ELA and Social Studies teacher!! As always, my students are wonderful, funny, inspiring and smart! Each day I go into my classroom to teach them something, they end up teaching me as well. I have visual learners who are inspired by working problems out and seeing the results in front of them. They attend and I teach at a school that is undergoing a transformation change after years of failing test scores and behavior problems. Our leadership team strives on providing us with many leaning opportunities to help us grow to grow our wonderful students. I am focused on student achievement within our classroom. Being able to provide much needed resources to my children helps by building a functioning classroom with equal learning opportunities no matter the outside situations.
