My students are creative and thoughtful about their work. They love to design and create projects to be proud of. Our school is just one year old and while it has the latest in technology and textbooks, it is just beginning to acquire the equipment and supplies that many schools take years to accumulate and use on a regular basis. We opened with just the basics and we are building our programs from the ground up. It is a fun and challenging endeavor. The kids like to find creative ways around the lack of supplies, but it would be nice to be able to offer them just what they need to accomplish their work. It would put them in a position to truly compete and feel a sense of pride in their work. These supplies and equipment are meant to enhance what we already have...to help build a struggling new program into a strong productive one.
