My students need books in our classroom library to help engage them and strengthen reading skills. Research says that students achieve success at higher levels when they have books in their hands that are of interest to them as well as "just-right" - meaning not too easy or too difficult. In our library, we have plenty of lower level books, but we need more chapter books appropriate for third grade and upper elementary. Books can also help my students "travel" to places they may never get the opportunity to see. These books will be enjoyable, educational, and just plain FUN to read!
