I have twenty-three kindergarten and first grade students in my class. Just like our city (with over 90 languages spoken in our district), they are a very diverse group of students. They are sweet, energetic and fun-loving kids. Because of our building schedule, our primary math block is in the afternoon, after the students' lunch and recess. The challenge this presents is students who are tired at the end of the day. Therefore, it is even more crucial to have an engaging and upbeat math program to keep their interest and attention going in the last part of their school day!

About my class
