I teach Kindergarten in a rural Maine town. 85% of my students receive free or reduced hot lunch. My students come from low economics and some don't own books of their own. I want to be able to provide my students with a variety of books to read on their own. Our school does not have a book room for me to select age appropriate texts for my students. I want to be able to give my students the opportunity to master those basic reading skills and enjoy reading with fun texts! My students are fun and eager to learn new concepts. What a great way to introduce them to the wonderful world of reading with new easy readers?
