We don't have a staffed library in our school, so my students are dependent on my classroom library (and my personal trips to the local library) for books to read. I try to stock my library many different ways- including library book sales, facebook marketplace, and donations from the community. My goal is to stock my classroom library with high interest diverse books for independent reading. The more options students have, the more likely they are to read. I chose both books students requested and books recommended by other educators to design this project.
