Many of my students are energetic, ambitious little people who are eager to learn. Their socioeconomic status should not be the determining factor as to whether they get the best education their teacher has to offer. The school sits in the middle of a poor neighborhood where the entire student population receives free lunch. Asking for anything outside of paper and pencils is a financial stretch for many of the families in the area. However, the student's drive to learn is unmatched by any I've ever seen.
