My students are a diverse group of Urban students from all over the world ,grades K-6, living in NY. My school building is set up as an open classroom concept. 67% of my students receive free or reduced lunch. My student population will grow this school year due to another elementary building in the district closing, with my school absorbing some of the overflow student population. This school year will be a year of change for the whole school population. A year to come together and grow a strong community.
