My students are Native Americans who attend a tribal school. They have not had science other than 20 mins 2x/week in a regular classroom. They are fantastic kids craving for science teaching especially in the life sciences. The only thing the school has for science is loads of old textbooks from 1993. I have always taught science using inquiry and experiential based approaches. My students would benefit tremendously from any type of science equipment that can be used in a hands on matter.
