Our 5th grade students are part of an Integrated Co-Teaching class in a New York City urban school, which consists of 10 students with special needs within our class of 25. They are a diverse group of students from many backgrounds and cultures, as well as a variety of academic abilities. Each child within the classroom is unique and together, they strive to support one another as they grow and learn. With two teachers in the classroom to support our students various needs, we strive to create a classroom environment that is inviting and accessible to all.
