My third grade students attend what was, only a few years ago, one of the most challenged schools in Baltimore City. They are enthusiastic, engaged, and excited about learning. In order for them to become better readers, I know that they need to be exposed to as much text as possible. The only challenge is the fact that the reading levels of my 51 students span across a huge range.
