I teach 80 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students math skills. I teach special education students who need extra help with basic math skills as well as inclusion classes for students who need just an extra push with their math skills.. The students are in junior high school, and I have an even number of boys and girls who are enrolled in my classes. They come from low to middle class families, and most are being raised in homes where their goals of education exceed their parents' accomplishments. The children desire the basic skills that this class offers and actually ask to be enrolled in this math as their elective.
