I don't know how I could ever hope to describe my children in 1000 characters or less, so all I can do is try my best to illustrate how spectacular, effervescent, exhausting, frustrating, but ultimately motivating my students are. My children attend a public school in DC, part of a predominantly Hispanic, high poverty community. The lives that many of my students live is difficult, yet despite whatever personal turmoils they continue to challenge, they come into my classroom every single day resilient, powerful, and ready to learn.

About my class
