Much of my teaching is done through electronic devices. Our school has gone one to one with Chromebooks to minimize the spreading of Covid. Getting around to every student during whole group instruction can be a bit like roller derby running back and forth between students and the New Line television. I could either ask for roller skates or an ipad. The iPad wins. With the aid of an iPad to controI the New Line television I can continue teaching from anywhere in the classroom which will enable me to give immediate individualized intervention. The ipen is needed to make writing more precise when doing math problems or or making changes to documents as I walk around the room. As hard as it is for me to move around the classroom it is just as hard for some students to not be able to move. With the wiggle chairs and flexible seating desks, students will be able to move into groups or partners and not worry about Covid because they will be able to take their own chair or "desk" with them. Those who have trouble staying seated can actually work on the floor but still have a desk. With these products my amazing class will be even more amazing.
